SCABIES
Highly contagious disease that affects skin.
Etiology - External Parasites
Symptoms -
- Alopecia (hair fall) on affected area.
- Itching on affected area.
- Dryness of the skin.
Diagnose - Signs and symptoms and microscopic examination of skin.
Treatment-
- Anthelminthic drug i.e. Ivermectin / Doramectin
- Antifungal / antibacterial lotion on affected area. (himax/kiskin/lorexane/charmil)
- For better result administer inj. dicrysticin, inj. chlorpheniramine maleate, inj. meloxicam, inj. A D3 E & H
- Provide good quality of mineral mixture to the animal on regular basis.
