Common reasons for vaccination failure

 Common reasons for vaccination failure

1. Lack of maintenance of cold chain from the time of manufacture till vaccination.

2. Poor immune response in weak and improperly fed animals.

3. Lack of herd immunity due to only a few animals being vaccinated.

4. Poor quality of vaccine - Quality will deteriorate if repeatedly thawed and cooled.

5. Low  efficiency or ineffective vaccine – May occur in case of strain variation (eg.  FMD).

Points to be noted during vaccination

1. Animals should be in good health at the time of vaccination.

2. The cold chain of the vaccines wherever prescribed should be maintained till the time of administration to the animal.

3.The manufacturers’ instruction on the route and dosage should be strictly followed.

4. A minimum vaccination coverage of 80% of population is required for proper control of the disease.

5. It is beneficial to deworm the animals 2-3 weeks before vaccination is carried out for better immune response.

6. Vaccination should be carried out at least a month prior to the likely occurrence of the disease.

7. Vaccination of animals in advanced pregnancy may be avoided even though in most cases nothing untoward may happen.

‍Reproplus® contains metho-chelated mineral mixture with vitamins, Bioactive Chromium, D-Biotin, Choline and Probiotics.

Indication

A powder proven to be an effective aid in improving reproductive ability, milk yield, general health, and body growth for large animals. 

‍

Usage 

• For cattle, buffaloes and horses, 35 to 50 g in daily feed, or 1 to 1.5 kg per 100 kg is recommended.
• For calves, heifers and foals, 15-20 g in feed is recommended. 

The healthcare product must be administered orally, along with the feed.

Pack Size and Storage

The product is available in 5 kg and 20 kg packs. It must be stored in a cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight.
